Season 5 introduces the Shadow Company faction to Warzone DMZ and unique Tasks to fulfill. One thing that’s obvious right away is the Shadow Companies’ missions are challenging, even in Tier 1. Even if the quests aren’t mechanically difficult, there’s usually a lot of RNG involved. This assessment certainly holds true for the ‘Deal with the Devil’ assignment, so let me show you how it works. This is how to equip a disguise in Warzone 2 DMZ: Deal with the Devil.
Warzone 2 DMZ: Deal with the Devil – How to equip a Disguise
Before you can equip a Disguise, you need to find one first. You can find Disguises on Ashika Island, but I’ve had the most luck on Al Mazrah.
Where to find a Disguise in Warzone 2 DMZ
I’ve found multiple Disguises in Hidden Caches scattered across Al Mazrah. Disguises can also be found in medical outposts like hospitals and tents and as general loot in duffel bags. If you can handle the heat, the train on Al Mazrah is stacked with various loot spawns and is a great place to obtain one quickly.
How to equip Disguise
Once you have the Disguise in your inventory, simply select it, and your Operator will put it on. You’ll know you have the item equipped as the top and bottom of your screen go dark. Unlike other equipable gear like Gas Masks, you can wear the Disguise as long as you like. You can also unequip the item by selecting it again from your inventory.
Can I wear the Disguise all the time?
You can wear the Disguise whenever you like, but there’s one catch. If you get shot while wearing it, the Disguise will be destroyed. It doesn’t have plates or an armor value, so gunfire removes the item from your inventory immediately. Because of this, I recommend keeping it safe in your Backpack until you intend to use it. If you’re on the Deal with the Devil mission, you can briefly put it on to complete the first part of the task.
What’s the point of the Disguise in Warzone 2 DMZ?
Aside from its use in the Deal with the Devil quest, the Disguise prevents AI combatants from shooting you on sight. This makes the item handy when you’re traversing high-traffic areas or don’t want to risk other teams hearing a gunfight. Sadly, enemies can see through your Disguise if you linger around or get too close. With this in mind, equip the Disguise only when necessary and take it off afterward. It’s great to see more content in DMZ, and some Shadow Company quests are already proving to be a real challenge. If you’re looking for the MRAP Key, check out our guide.
