Much like other Call of Duty games, having the right weapon will get you far. The SMG class of weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile is all over the place. Some are good, and others not so much. This guide will show you the best SMGs in Call of Duty: Mobile, so picking should be easier.
Call of Duty: Mobile: Best SMGs
Most of these weapons perform great out of the box, but as you progress you can earn upgrades and they might get better.
Best SMGs
- Rus-79u: This SMG is already unlocked as soon as you get into Call of Duty: Mobile. I’ve put it on this list for its reliability and its above-average stats. It’s a great SMG for use at either medium or close range. If you’re planning to use this weapon from a distance, consider getting some upgrades. Upgrading should help with the accuracy and the control.Â
- PP19 Bizon: Probably one of the easier guns to use in the game for a few reasons. It’s versatile more so than the Rus-79u, and it can become a fan favorite this season. Having the same balance as a low-end assault rifle gives you a good chance to become adaptable. On top of that, while upgrading is important, it seems like this weapon could use some minor changes such as a stock to make the accuracy manageable.Â
- Fennec: Variants of this weapon have made their way in other Call of Duty games. The story is somewhat the same here, while at close range if you can hit the enemy consistently then the Fennec can be a great asset. On the other hand, having low damage might turn you off. That shouldn’t deter you since it has a high fire rate which can act as a counter to the damage.Â
- PPsh-41: If you play at close range, this SMG might be for you. With its larger-than-life magazine, it’s great for keeping the pressure on enemies at a shorter distance. However, you may be limited even with upgrades since the gun suffers from handling. If you fight at close range, this shouldn’t be much of an issue. To take the point home even further, its damage is something to shy away from since it can outpower a lot of other weapons in the same class.Â

- Switchblade X9: The best way to use this SMG is from medium and close range. The reason is that it’s a fast gun with impressive recoil and good accuracy at certain distances. If you use this weapon at long range you might get the issue of not being able to hit the targets because of its range. However, since most SMGs in Call of Duty: Mobile work best at close quarters to the enemy, this weapon is a great highlight of that.Â
