Step into the digital world of Baltoro’s Pixel Cafe when it launches on November 30 for PC and consoles.
Part arcade time manager and part visual novel, Pixel Cafe will transport players to the city of Karstok. Stuck between a socialist past and a capitalist future, players will follow the story of small-town girl Pixel as she works as a barista. Along the way, she will forge connections, overcome any and all difficulties, and struggle to find her worth as she sets out to make it big.
10 different bars await in all, with players tasked with keeping customers satisfied while adapting to new recipes and sub-optimal working conditions. If one is looking for an additional challenge, there are als 50 optional Nightmare levels for players to overcome.
Once players clock out, they’ll be able to decorate their Grandma’s old house, buying furniture and unlocking posters to decorate it however they wish. Rounding things out are pixel graphics that have been designed by the development team to invoke a retro feel and an original soundtrack by composer Arkadiusz Reikowsk, who previously worked on Layers of Fear and OBSERVER.
