Sun (Akinari) Social Link answers guide in Persona 3 Reload
You’ll first need to start the Hanged Man (Maiko) Social Link and get that to Rank 3 to meet Akinari Kamiki. The next time you’ll see him will be on 8/9 at Naganaki Shrine on the bench by the playground. He’ll appear only on Sundays, so you should see him as often as you can.
Unlocking Akinari Social Link & Rank 1
Upon first seeing Akinari, he’ll mention he’s lost his red fountain pen. You can find this pen by talking to Koromaru at the Dorm who has already found it. Bring it back to Akinari and you’ll be able to start the Social Link.
Reminder: Bring along a Persona with the Sun Arcana to get bonus points.

Sun (Akinari) Social Link rewards
After getting to Rank 10 of the Sun Social Link, Akinari will give you a Worn Notebook. You can use this to fuse Asura, the Ultimate Persona of the Sun Arcana! With that Social Link out of the way, you should also tend to the Emperor Social Link.
