What are the best Destiny 2 Prismatic builds? With the release of The Final Shape we’ve finally got our hands on the powerful Prismatic subclass, and with that comes new build crafting and interesting, fun combinations of all of the subclasses we’ve wielded before now.

If you’re not up to date with Destiny 2, check out our Prismatic subclass guide which explains everything you need to know, including the new Aspects and Fragments you can get your hands on. We’ve also got all of the new The Final Shape Exotics that you can get your hands on in the DLC.

Best Destiny 2 Prismatic Hunter build

  • Super – Storm’s Edge (Arc)
  • Melee – Knife Trick (Solar)
  • Grenade – Duskfield Grenade (Stasis)
  • Aspects – Stylish Executioner (Void), Ascension (Arc).
  • Fragments – Facet of Blessing, Facet of Courage, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Balance, Facet of Ruin.

The best Prismatic Hunter build utilizes the brand-new super, Storm’s Edge, to increase mobility and give you multiple chances at taking down hordes of enemies. The aspects we use will give us added damage to enemies. Ascension, the new aspect, will allow you to active your class ability while airborne to jolt and damage enemies below, while making you and nearby allies Amplified. Stylish Executioner means that defeating any enemies affected by any debuff will turn you invisible for that traditional Hunter stealth.

The fragments we’re using will add range to our playstyle allowing us to get away with things previously much more difficult. The Facet of Blessing will start health regeneration on melee final blows, which spreads to your allies while you’re Transcendent, while the Facet of Courage means we can deal increased damage to targets affected by Darkness debuffs, such as suspended or frozen. The Facet of Dawn means our powered melee hits make us Radiant, and final blows spread that to nearby allies, too.

The Facet of Balance is one of my favorites, and grants melee and grenade energy for defeating targets with Light or Dark damage respectfully. Finally, the Facet of Ruin will increase the size and damage of the burst when you shatter a Stasis crystal or frozen target. With the Stasis grenades being used here, this comes in handy for damaging enemies in clusters.

Destiny 2 Prismatic Warlock build screen

Best Destiny 2 Prismatic Warlock build

  • Super – Song of Flame (Solar)
  • Melee – Incinerator Snap (Solar)
  • Grenade – Healing Grenade (Arc)
  • Aspects – Bleak Watcher (Stasis), Feed the Void (Void)
  • Class Ability – Phoenix Dive (Solar)
  • Fragments – Facet of Sacrifice, Facet of Devotion, Facet of Command, Facet of Balance

The best Prismatic Warlock build for The Final Shape relies on optimizing the use of your grenade. You’ll want to build your stats towards discipline for the grenade recharge back quickly without eating too much into resilience or recovery. Consuming your grenade will grant a Stasis turret as well as restoration, and any ability kill will trigger devour using the Feed the Void aspect. With Transcendence, you need to look to charge the Light and Dark meters, and do so without it being disproportionate.

The Facety of Sacrifice will increase your Dark meter faster, and using Devour from the aspect choices we’ve made will aid in that. The Facet of Devotion increases the Light meter fill rate, and the Bleak Watcher aspect in this build means there should be plenty of slowed or frozen enemies to increase the rate of this further. The Facet of Command adds yet more Stasis shards and reduces the need to reload as often, while the Facet of Balance helps all of your abilities to recharge much faster. Combine this build with the Getaway Artists Exotic will spawn turrets, while your turret kills also activate devour.

Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan build screen

Best Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan build

  • Super – Twilight Arsenal (Void)
  • Melee – Frenzied Blade (Strand)
  • Grenade – Shackle Grenade (Strand)
  • Aspects – Consecration (Solar), Knockout (Arc)
  • Fragments – Facet of Balance, Facet of Dominance, Facet of Purpose, Facet of Ruin, Facet of Grace

Our Frenzied Blade melee will grant us three melee charges for this punchy, aggressive Titan Prismatic build. Accompanied by the new Twilight Arsenal Super, which grants Titans three Void axes to throw to deal huge damage to enemies, which can then be picked up to use as melee weapons by you or your fireteam members, the strength of the Titans is on show here. Combine that with Consecration, which activates your charged melee ability to send a devastating wave of Solar energy forward to damage and scorch enemies in its path, and you can take down almost any enemy shield with this build.

If you’re looking for more Destiny 2 builds, we’ve also got the best Hunter build, best Warlock build, and best Titan build for the other subclasses in individual guides that will be updated for each episode in Destiny 2.
