The new Spirit Ashes in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC are definitely worth seeking out. You’ll need all the help you can get in the Land of Shadows…

Please note that this list is up to date with all the Spirit Ashes with a confirmed location, meaning currently this is not a comprehensive list of all the Spirit Ashes. Make sure to check back, as I’ll be updating this list immediately as more information comes to light about any other Spirit Ashes across all the regions.

All Graveyard Plain Spirit Ash locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

There are four Spirit Ashes to be found in the Graveyard Plain region in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

These three Spirit Ashes will be a little tricky to obtain, so take your time and go after the one you find the most exciting first.

Here is a more detailed list of the Spirit Ashes and their locations.

1. Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh Ashes

This Spirit Ash is a boss drop from Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze. You’ll find this boss at the end of the Belurat Gaol dungeon, located at the “X” below this Spirit Ash marker.

2. Bloodfiend Hexer’s Ashes

This Spirit Ash is another boss drop from Chief Bloodfiend. You’ll find this boss at the end of the Rivermouth Cave dungeon, located at the “X” to the far left of this Spirit Ash marker.

3. Horned Warrior Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found on a corpse. When you arrive at that general area, head down the broken staircase and enter the room you’ll come across. On the left side is this Spirit Ash.

4. Inquisitor Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found on a corpse beneath the penultimate enemy before reaching the Spiral Rise site of grace from the First Rise site of grace.

All Scadu Atlus Spirit Ash locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

There are eight Spirit Ashes to be found in the Scadu Atlus in Shadow of the Erdtree. To make things easier, I’ll split this section into north and south Scadu Atlus.

Here are all the Spirit Ash locations in southern Scadu Atlus:

These two orientate around bosses to get to them, although you only need to beat one of them to get them both.

1. Curseblade Meera Ashes

This Spirit Ash is a boss drop from Curseblade Labirith. You’ll find this boss at the end of Bonny Gaol, shown at the “X” on the map below this marker.

2. Mesmer Soldier Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found near a grave outside the Fort of Reprimand, in an outcrop that can be accessed from the room where you access the Omenkiller boss. Cross the room to the other side and it will lead outside.

3. Big Mouth Imp Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found inside a treasure chest in the Darklight Catacombs, shown by the “X” on the map below this marker.

4. Man-Fly Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found on a corpse in the Village of the Flies, however, this section can only be access by going south in the river from the Shadow Keep.

Here are all the Spirit Ash locations for northern Scadu Atlus:

These Spirit Ashes are difficult to find for the most part as they concern difficult puzzles and Irises of Grace.

5. Swordhand of Night Jolun

This Spirit Ash is a potential reward from completing Jolun’s questline. At the end of this questline, when you meet him at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, you must give him an Iris of Grace to receive these ashes.

6. Fire Knight Queelign Ashes

This Spirit Ash is given to you by the NPC in the prayer room in the Shadow Keep so long as you hand them an Iris of Grace.

7. Fire Knight Hilde Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found on a corpse that can only be accessed by a convoluted lift system. From the lift found in the marked area of the Shadow Keep, activate the lift but step back onto the platform. Another lift will take its place. Jump on this new lift’s roof until the lifts stop. You should be able to jump over to where the corpse is.

8. Taylew The Golden Smith Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found from interacting with a furnace. From the platform that you can move with the lever, make sure to head up. As you near the top, jump to the side where you can ascend a staircase to find the furnace.

All Rauh Ruins Spirit Ash locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

There are four Spirit Ashes to be found in Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring, although only one is easy pickings.

Take your time and be careful when trying to locate these Spirit Ashes, some are rather hard to pin down.

1. Black Knight Commander Andreas Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found in the Fog Rift Catacombs, found on the map by the “X” below this Spirit Ash marker. Follow this dungeon until you come across black knight and three messmer soldiers. Jump on top of the spike trap that falls from the ceiling and walk into the corridor that you’ll have access too.

2. Spider Scorpion Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found as one of the many items under the waiting Spider Scorpion. It’s difficult to miss upon entering the marked area.

3. Divine Bird Warrior Ornis Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found inside of a cave that can only be accessed by a Spiritspring found at the arrow marker on the map. Use the Spiritspring to leap onto the ruined structures. Follow them till you find a cave, then head left once inside.

4. Black Knight Captain Huw

This Spirit Ash is found inside the Scorpion River Catacombs. You’ll find this dungeon at the “X” to the left of this Spirit Ash marker. Follow the dungeon through and you’ll soon come across a black knight and two messmer soldiers once you’ve turned left at the Yellow Fulgurbloom after the room with the falling spikes. At the other end of those enemies will be a coffin with the Spirit Ashes.

All Southern Shore Spirit Ash locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

There is only one Spirit Ash in the Southern Shore in Elden Ring, although I hope your torrent is up to the task.

1. Gravebird Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found surrounded by gravestones, and is easily found by using the Spiritspring to leap to its location. The Spiritspring is marked by the yellow arrow on the map.

All Hinterlands Spirit Ash locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

There is only one Spirit Ash in the Hinterlands, and it’s pretty difficult to get to.

1. Fingercreeper Ashes

This Spirit Ash is found is a hole guarded by a handful of enemies and a Colossal Fingercreeper. To find the whole, travel south-east from the Fingerstone Hill site of grace until you reach a plateau. Then head east until you find a large group of Fingercreepers. Jump inside the hole and do battle with the Colossal Fingercreeper. You’ll find it on the corpse.
