If you act fast you can grab this super-speedy and high-capacity PCIe 4.0 SSD for its lowest price in ages. This Samsung SSD deal sees one of the company’s fastest and largest-capacity M.2 drives, the 4TB 990 Pro, available for just $299.99, which gives you 35% off its MSRP and offers incredible value for this size and speed of drive.

When it launched, the 990 Pro was clearly one of the best gaming SSDs when it came to speed, but this Samsung drive was also quite expensive then, holding it back from a general recommendation. However, it’s a great buy at today’s deal price. Slower drives of this size can be had for less money, but if you want performance and space, this is one of the lowest price options available right now.

The Samsung 990 Pro launched in late 2022, but despite being a couple of years old now, it still holds its own for performance. Plus, unlike the very latest PCIe 5.0 drives that can hit as high as 14,500MB/s, this doesn’t run ridiculously hot.

Meanwhile, SSD prices have been rising steadily this year, so although this drive has been cheaper in the past – as shown in this 1TB Samsung 990 Pro deal – this 4TB model has never been cheaper than $249.99, and that was only during last year’s Black Friday sale.

As well as offering a claimed 7,450MB/s peak sequential read speed, Samsung also bills this drive as having a peak sequential write speed of 6,900MB/s and random read/write performance of 1,400K/1,550K IOPs. In the Samsung 990 Pro review on our sister site Custom PC – using the 2TB version of this drive – these Samsung speed claims were proven to be accurate, with the drive delivering a 7,198MB/s sequential read speed test, and a 6,754MB/s sequential write speed result in CrystalDiskMark.

You don’t need to leap through any hoops to take advantage of this offer. Just head on over to Amazon via this link and grab your 35% saving. This is a limited-time deal, though, so it won’t be around for long.
