Gilbert du Motier, the aforementioned Marquis de Lafayette, previously made his mark on two continents.
Not only did he lead troops in the American Revolution, he also served as a voice of reason in France between the twin horrors of autocracy and revolutionary retribution.
With this impressive resume, his most skillful feat may very well be survival at the center of its tumultuous time.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is set to launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam (also supporting Mac and Linux) and the Epic Games Store on February 11 next month.
