How badly do you want to play the Elden Ring Nightreign beta? Invites to the upcoming network test have already been sent out by FromSoftware and the first live demo for the RPG and roguelike is scheduled to begin on Friday February 14. Of course, there are some people who applied to play and didn’t get access, and if you’re one of them, and you’re feeling especially forlorn, well, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that you can buy your way into Shadow of the Erdtree’s co-op follow-up. The bad news is that it could cost you the same as a brand-new GPU.

The Elden Ring Nightreign beta start date is inbound and From has dispatched the official invites. A roguelike variation on the notoriously challenging RPG, Nightreign pits three players against increasingly tough mobs and bosses in quickfire matches that last about 40 minutes. There are two Elden Ring Nightreign network tests, one on Friday February 14 and the other on Sunday February 16. If you didn’t get an invite, all you need is a mere $500.

As noticed by The Gamer, over on eBay, scalpers are selling Elden Ring Nightreign beta access invitations for sky-high prices. One listing is a buy-it-now offer of $247 / £200. Another seller has a Nightreign test invite available for $300 / £241. And if you really don’t like having money, one person on eBay will sell you access to the Elden Ring Nightreign beta for a paltry $500 / £400.

Elden Ring Nighreign beta access: A listing for invites to the new Elden Ring game

Of course, we’re all intrigued about a new FromSoftware game, but the full Elden Ring Nightreign release date is unlikely to be that far away. If the choice is to wait a few months or part with 500 actual dollars, I’d say there are plenty of other new PC games that are more worth your cash and will help kill the time.
