Wenduag and Lann are two possible companions in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Sadly, they’re like oil and water. They just don’t mix together, and they tend to be mutually exclusive. Still, there’s a way to get the two of them while avoiding most of the mishaps. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you get both Wenduag and Lann without anyone dying or betraying you.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – How to get both Wenduag and Lann
Prologue: Choose Lann
To get both Wenduag and Lann in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, we’re going to assume that you sided with Lann hundreds of hours prior during the prologue. We’re not entirely sure about the process if you picked Wenduag, so it’s going to be Lann from the start:
- Reveal the Light of Heaven / “Lann speaks the truth.”
- “Come with me, Lann.”
From there, just continue the campaign. Stuff like romancing Lann, reuniting him with his mother, or making him the chief of the Mongrels are completely optional.
Act 3: Back to the Roots
For Lann’s companion quest, you’ll duke it out with Wenduag in the initial area of the game. After beating her, say that she’s not worthy of joining the Crusader ranks.
Note: This is important because, in Lann’s Act 4 quest, Wenduag will betray you if you recruited her. You’ll have no choice but to kill her at that stage. However, if you tell her that she’s not even worthy during Act 3, she won’t show up during the Act 4 battle.
Act 5: The Last Resort
Upon reaching the location for Lann’s Act 5 quest, you’re presented with several responses:
- Agree to Lann’s suggestion – If you reunited Lann with his mother and he’s recognized as the clan’s chieftain, he’ll survive his encounter with Savamalekh. If not, he’ll die. Since these are just additional steps, they don’t seem necessary.
- Lawful: “I am your commander. You follow my orders.” – Instead, pick the Lawful reply to keep Lann in check. This will prevent him from running off.
Once you reach Savamalekh, Wenduag will show up and aid you. After the fight, you’ll have the opportunity to recruit her. If you choose to do so, you’ll get both Wenduag and Lann in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Although it’s fairly late in the campaign, at least there are no more betrayals, deaths, and shenanigans.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available via Steam.
