Arueshalae is a recruitable companion in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. While she has renounced her demonic nature and turned to Desna for guidance, you can, eventually, bring her back to the dark side. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you corrupt Arueshalae and get her back in your party.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – How to corrupt Arueshalae and get her back
Act 4: Turning Arueshalae to the Dark Side
You can corrupt Arueshalae in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous by doing her companion quest in Act 4 and making a specific choice. This entails the following:
- Complete her earlier companion quests in Act 3 (i.e., Borrowed Dreams and Arueshalae Imprisoned).
- You probably shouldn’t romance her. The process would be moot since Corrupted Arueshalae will end subsequent romance flags and lovey-dovey endings for good.
- In Act 4, you’ll get the Dreams in Ruin quest. Do the task and talk to Arueshalae afterward to enter her dream world. When presented with dialogue choices, choose the evil options:
- The first one is: “You’re a demon, too, and there’s no escaping that.” This reply is fine as it is.
- If you choose other replies and burn down the objects, you can still pick: “Burn it down! Destroy everything that remains of your dream!”
Either way, Arueshalae will accept that her true nature can’t be changed. She’ll then leave your party for the rest of Act 4.
Act 5: Where to Find Corrupted Arueshalae
You’ll have a chance to re-recruit Corrupted Arueshalae in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous come Act 5. Make sure to discover the Place of Execution, which is in the northwestern portion of the world map. The closest landmarks are Pulura’s Fall and Ineluctable Prison.
Once you’re there, you’ll meet with Arueshalae, who seems to have gathered her own small demon army. Reply with: “Aren’t you bored of this hole? You can rejoin my party if you want.”
- She’ll only join you if you chose the Demon, Lich, Trickster, or Legend Mythic Paths. She’ll even help you take out her former cohorts.
- The goody-two-shoes Angel, Azata, and Gold Dragon are out of the question, as is the Devil (the structure and rules are disliked by Demons). If you don’t meet the Mythic Path requirement, you’ll have no choice but to attack and eliminate her.
Note 1: This area has a chest that contains the slabs/plates needed for the Secrets of Creation: Legacy of the Ancients puzzle.
Note 2: Is it really worth recruiting Corrupt Arueshale in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous? Probably not. When you do get her back, she’s leveled up, with some really terrible feats/build.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available via Steam.
