by theygamesIn Little Kitty, Big City, you’ll soon meet a Chameleon who will challenge you to find him with your weird eyes. With a big city to cover, you’ll be in for a hard task.
Thankfully, the Chameleon gives you clues to his general location, to make your task just that little bit easier.
Chameleon first hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
The first hiding spot of the Chameleon is in a construction site, thanks to the glaring poetry he gives you before he first disappears.
There is a construction site not far from where you first meet the Chameleon. To get there, continue to walk along the platform and jump out to the street. If you look to one end, you should see the signs and hallmarks of a construction zone.
The Chameleon is in the construction zone itself, however, but access is blocked off by a large body of water. To get past, you’ll need a little help from Tanuki.
You’ll find Tanuki stuck in a pipe under the bridge next to the construction zone. Once you’ve freed her, she’ll ask for your help for her invention, which will be needed.
Fetch 3 feathers to help Tanuki, and you’ll be introduced to the Petwork. Brush aside your inhibitions, and jump in.
Now on the other side of the fence, walk out from under the bridge and around the construction site to the right. You’ll find a portaloo, and inside, the Chameleon.
Once you talk to him, he’ll try his luck again and give you another clue.
Chameleon second hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
The second hiding spot for the Chameleon really isn’t far from the first. From this riddle, it can be deduced that he’ll be hiding at a child’s playground.
You’ll need to get 25 Shinies to give to the Crow for a fish, which will allow you to climb ivy.
There is an ivy wall right behind where you talk to the Crow, and when you climb it, you’ll quickly come into contact with the Duck at the duck pond. If you go around the duck pond, you’ll see a child’s playground, with a robot statue and a slide that resembles another robot.
If you look closely, you’ll see the Chameleon’s tail poking out the mouth of the robot. Talk to him, and he’ll disappear once again, leaving you with another clue.
Chameleon third hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
Hilariously, the third hiding spot is within sight from the second. He tells you that he is near six vending machines, and wouldn’t yo u know it, there are six vending machines right outside the park.
You can see see him right on top of the green one. use the boxes to the left to jump on to the machines and talk to him.
Chameleon fourth hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
I’m sure by now you’ve heard all about Gecku, and that’s where the Chameleon is off next. The Gecku store.
Take a left from the vending machines and walk down the street until you find the Gecku Store.
The Chameleon will be in there, at the top of the store. Use the shelves and merchandise as platforms on the right wall of the store to jump up and meet the Chameleon here.
Talk to him and accept the next challenge.
Chameleon fifth hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
The fifth hiding spot is actually pretty difficult to find. He mentions that he’s on a rooftop garden, and there’s only one.
The best place to start would be by the duck pond in the middle of the map. Make your way up the path that goes north until you reach where the road ends. A dog will be standing on duty to your right.
Walk past the fences off the road to where you see the two vending machines with the ivy going up the wall. For these next bits, you’ll need to have eaten at least two Fishes. But don’t worry, there is another further north by the river if you need it!
Whilst you’re on the ground still, it’ll be worth activating the Petwork portal by the river for later. You’ll need it!
Climb up the vending machines and the ivy, and further climb up to the next structure on the roof. From there, you’ll find a set of cables that connect your roof to the side of another building, with ivy going up it.
Climb the ivy, and you’ll come across the rooftop garden.
The “water-wielding warden” will spray you water if you get too close, so be careful! You’ll find the Chameleon on the other side of the gate. Go around the right edge of the garden and climb the ivy.
Hop down and talk to the Chameleon, who’ll be very grateful you found him this time. Whilst you’re there, you can also turn off the water to grab the Fish on the windowsill.
Chameleon sixth hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
I thought this hiding spot would really stump me. I couldn’t remember there being any red bullseye’s in the city. Thankfully, however, I quickly found him, although he’s not exactly in an alleyway.
Make your way to the Gecku Petwork portal, in the lower right corner of the map. If you don’t have that one unlocked, then just head here:
As soon as you reach the Petwork portal, look around and you’ll quickly see a giant bullseye, with the Chameleon sat right under it.
The harder part is getting to him.
To the right of the alley is a truck. Climb that to climb onto the wall bordering the alley, where you’ll be able to follow a linear path till a dead end.
Jump down, where you can leap onto some cardboard boxes to jump onto the platform with the Shiny on it. Climb onto the tunnels and boxes to the next Shiny, and keep climbing up till you reach the platform just under the Chameleon.
He’ll once again be very grateful to see you. But the game still goes on.
Chameleon seventh hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
Chameleon said he’d be by the riverfront, and thankfully we’ve got a Petwork portal right there.
So jump into the Petwork and travel up, where we can begin our search.
It won’t be a long search, mind, as he’ll be on the other side of this sign up the stairs.
With this penultimate find, the Chameleon will give you his final clue.
Chameleon final hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City
Chameleon said his final hiding spot is near the convenience store, which thankfully has a Petwork Portal right outside it. When he said he’s in a room where people like to rest, he meant that he’s in the locked restroom in the store.
So either travel or portal down, and head to the convenience store. There are two ways to enter the restroom, both with their own challenge.
The first way is to enter through the open window outside the convenience store. From the Petwork portal, head right. If you’ve dealt with the dog, you can jump on the crates against the wall and hop in through the window.
If you have yet to deal with the dog, then enter the convenience store. On the right side of the store is a vent duct that connects to the restroom. You’ll need to jump onto an isle and then jump on to the ledge.
The hard part here is sticking the landing. Don’t hold the jump button, just get to the edge of the isle and tap it. It took me a few tries, but I managed to stick the landing. Once you’re on the ledge, you can crawl through the duct and find the Chameleon.
Speak to him to conclude this test, and get a little reward.
With the Chameleon’s test finished, you are now free to explore the city further and find other friends!
