While Batography is over quicker than a mooncake break, this full moon adventure is full of heart. Those looking to kick off the Lunar New Year in style – and get some nice shots in the process – shouldn’t sleep on this cozy title.
Just in time for the Lunar New Year, players will shoot for the moon with the release of SporkTank’s Batography.

Batography Review
Getting a camera from the oh-so-handy Elder Bat, Batography lives up to its portmaneau by letting players take part in the great art of photography as a bat.
As players wait for the next full moon, Batography will keep busy by taking on odd jobs ranging from impromptu wedding photographer to garbage collector. As players progress through this short-but-sweet title, they’ll come across gardeners, electricians, cleaners, and even guards as they set out to git-r-done.
Batography prides itself on its atmosphere throughout its short, 15-minute tale. While players can collect up to 10 mooncakes, they’ll more or less have the same experience as they set out to get the perfect shot in the pale moonlight.
While gameplay in Batography doesn’t have too much to it (there’s not even a jump button), everything is clear to understand and works as it should. From climbing poles to hitting context items, Batography was a breeze to understand – just the thing for little ones. If all else fails, there’s also context button prompts at the bottom of the screen at any given time that provide an easy form of reference.
Of course, photography also plays a big part in Batography, factoring into some very light puzzle solving. Talking to each of the townfolk is absolutely crucial, and figuring out what one needs from someone at any given time is half the fun.
When it comes time to get things done, players will line up the perfect shot in Batography to get things done and dusted. Things are simple to understand, with one’s framing and a shot button being the only controls needed. Still, it gets the job done, and it keeps things moving – players can also check out their photos with the aforementioned Elder Bat when they want to take in their prowess.
Rounding things out in Batography is a charming presentation that truly sets the mood. While this title is a short one – the equivalent of a coffee break, in fact – Batography will be sure to put a smile on your face.
