10. Deidara
I found Deidara’s Awakening to be incredibly underrated, while not many fans of the previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games talk about him. During his Awakening, he summons a huge powerful dragon to sit and fly upon.
He’s now a lot more dangerous, and difficult to fight against if he’s your opponent. With one long-ranged attack and an explosive dive-bomb maneuver, Deidara deserves a spot on this list.
9. Minato (Reanimation)
Not only is this Minato, but Minato in his Reanimation form. In this form, Minato becomes his most powerful self, and transforms into a bright version of himself that nearly looks identical to his son, Naruto.
With Minato’s high mobility and now improved strength, he’s a wrecking ball in his Awakened form. Although it’s a low ranking on this list, that doesn’t mean it’s not just as cool as some of the others.
8. Gaara
Most of Gaara’s versions in Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections don’t have this as his Awakening, but this Gaara allows him to transform into his Tailed Beast form, which is a sight to behold.
Turning into a hulking beast, Gaara is temporarily stronger, tougher, and he gets two incredible long-ranged attacks. Not only that, but up close and personal he can leave devastating hits.
7. Sasuke (Rinne Sharingan)
Any Sasuke you play as past his Rinne Sharingan form will be an exceptional pick for an awesome Awakening. He transforms into his Susano, a terrifying purple warrior with wings.
Although he doesn’t have any special moves in this form, any hits you deliver with your normal combos will still pack a large punch. This is especially true with his electrifying Chidori move.
6. Naruto (Sage of the Six Paths)
This version of Naruto is highly-powerful, as he can transform into his Tailed Beast form during his Awakening. As usual, getting to control a Tailed Beast is the best part of this maneuver.
He doesn’t have any special moves, but his hulking figure can hit anyone in his way, and he has great mobility when dodging to remove or create space between him and the opponent.

5. Hashirama Senju (Reanimation)
In his Reanimation form, Hashirama Senju is able to turn into his Wood Golum form during an Awakening. Hashirama, although not as large as some other Awakening transformations, is still extremely powerful.
He has a strong long-ranged throw and a leap attack to get across the battlefield in seconds. Even his melee hits are pretty health-damaging.
4. Madara (Reanimation)
Madara in his Reanimation form is strong enough to make it on this list, let alone other versions of himself you’ll find further down. He transforms into his own Susano warrior, but it’s even more frightening than Sasuke’s.
This Awakening also doesn’t have special moves, but his sword attacks have punishing consequences to anyone who finds themselves as their victims.
3. Obito (Ten Tails Jinchuriki)
With Obito in his best form, he’s even deadlier after taking over the power of the Ten Tails Jinchuriki. During his Awakening, he doesn’t rely on special moves, but he can still perform strong combos.
His typical melee sword slashes turn into long-ranged swipes, and his one AoE Ninjutsu becomes highly destructive to any opponent around him.
2. Danzo Shimura
Although he only seems to have one working arm, Danzo isn’t to be trifled with. During Danzo’s awakening, he unwraps his hidden arm to gain long-ranged deadly attacks, as well as two special moves that are even worse.
Worse for the opponent, that is. Not only does he use the Sharingan to his advantage, but he has an insta-kill ability that’ll wipe you out in a split second.
1. Madara (Six Paths)
Finally, in first place is Madara in his Six Paths form. Nothing can top this character’s Awakening, he was even one of the best characters in the previous Ninja Storm game.
You don’t often get an Awakened character with four special moves, but here we are. This Madara receives an incredible arsenal of attacks that’ll pummel his enemies into the ground.
