One of the most exhilarating activities in Hogwarts Legacy is flying around the Highlands on your broom. At some point during your playthrough, you’ll gain the quest Flying Class, which enables you to shop at the Quidditch store in Hogsmeade. Where to find the best brooms in Hogwarts Legacy

Spintwitch’s Sporting Needs

When you unlock Spintwitch’s Sporting Needs, you’ll only be able to purchase a broom from a selection of five. Sadly, there really are no “best brooms” in Hogwarts Legacy, since each of them perform the same. So choose which one you like the most based on looks. Every broom at the store costs 600 galleons. Each broom, whether you get it at the shop or elsewhere, has its own unique design. Here are the brooms you can find at Spintwitch’s:

Locations for additional brooms in Hogwarts Legacy

Aeromancer Broom: Rohan Prakash

This merchant sells the Aeromancer Broom for 3,000 galleons. To find Rohan, teleport to the Marunween Bridge Floo Flame, then head southwest. Rohan’s shop is very close by.

Family Antique Broom: Priya Treadwell

You can find Priya Treadwell’s shop right near the Feldcroft Battle Arena, southwest of Irondale. She sells the Family Antique Broom for 2,500 galleons.

Silver Arrow Broom: Arn

One of the most expensive brooms you can buy is the beautiful Silver Arrow Broom. Arn, the goblin painter, will sell you this broom. To unlock his shop, you must complete Arn’s side quest first in Lower Hogsfield, called ‘Carted Away.’ This broom is priced at 5,000 galleons.

Sky Scythe Broom: Leopolde Babcocke

Finally, the other expensive broom, which costs 5,000 galleons as well, can be purchased from Leopolde Babcocke. His shop is located right by Hogsmeade station, south of Hogsmeade.

Balloon Challenge Brooms

The last few brooms available to unlock are rewarded after completing the Pop Balloons Challenges in the Challenges menu. To complete these challenges, you must pop sets of balloons across the Highlands. Each tier and their rewards are listed below.

• Tier I: Night Dancer Broom
• Tier II: Lickety Swift Broom
• Tier III: Wild Fire Broom
• Tier IV: Bright Spark Broom

How to get the best upgrades for brooms in Hogwarts Legacy

The only way to get broom upgrades is to complete the three Flight Test side quests with Imelda Reyes. As soon as you buy a broom from Albie Weekes, the owner of the Quidditch shop, you’ll unlock the Flight Test side quest. In a set of three quests, you must race on your broom and fly through hoops to beat the record time. After completing each race, Albie will come up with a new broom upgrade.

The first upgrade costs 1,000 galleons, the second is 4,000, and the third is 7,500. Luckily, the upgrades are well worth it, since each one increases your speed and acceleration. Also, don’t worry about buying an upgrade for each broom you buy. The upgrades work for whatever broom you’re using, and its appearance can be switched in the gear menu.
