Luka is a 4-star character from Honkai: Star Rail, introduced in the latter half of the Version 1.2 update. Luka is a Nihility Physical character with the ability to apply the Bleed damage-over-time effect on enemies, as well as debuff enemies by causing them to take more damage. This makes Luka a great Nihility character for any team, but his DoT-focused kit synergizes well with Kafka in particular. Light Cones

The best build for Luka in Honkai: Star Rail begins with a stellar Light Cone. Here are some of the best options to choose from:

• Incessant Rain is Luka’s best 5-star option. The main positives to this weapon are the Effect Hit Rate boost of 24%, as well as the Aether Code debuff the weapon provides that will cause targets inflicted with this debuff to take a 12% increased DMG. This weapon is slightly more offensive in nature than some of his other options.
• Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is Luka’s best free-to-play option if you managed to snag this Light Cone during the Version 1.1 event. It boasts a high boost to your Effect Hit Rate, but do note, Luka does not reduce enemy DEF, so he won’t regenerate energy from this Light Cone’s passive.
• Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat is Luka’s best option if you are leaning toward the support aspect of his kit. This Light Cone can Ensnare enemies, which will reduce their DEF by 12%. This will stack with Luka’s ability to increase damage taken by enemies.

Relics & Eidolons

Luka’s main utility here is to provide a Bleed DoT, as well as his Ultimate which increases damage taken by enemies.

• Luka’s Bleed DoT caps at 130% of his ATK. The Champion of Streetwise Boxing set is his best set, as it can increase his ATK by up to 25%. Increasing Luka’s ATK stats is important, as it boosts the DoT damage from his Bleed. Additionally, you will want some Effect Hit Rate to increase the chance that Luka’s debuffs land on the enemy. For his 2-piece set, use the Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise set, which will increase his Effect Hit Rate by 10%, as well as his ATK equal to 25% of his current Effect Hit Rate.

Here are Luka’s Eidolons, and which ones you’ll want to hit:

• Eidolon 1 increases damage dealt by Luka by 15% for 2 turns when he targets a Bleeding enemy. This can help Luka provide more DPS alongside his team.
• Eidolon 2 gives Luka a stack of “Fighting Will” after hitting an enemy with a Physical weakness. The “Fighting Will” status gives Luka an enhanced Basic ATK, which improves Luka’s damage considerably.
• Eidolon 3 increases his Skill level and Talent level by 2, which are marginal damage increases.
• Eidolon 4 increases Luka’s ATK by 5% per “Fighting Will” stack. This can give Luka a boost of up to 20%, capping at 4 stacks.
• Eidolon 5 boosts his Ultimate level by 2 and his Basic ATK by 1.
• Eidolon 6 increases the damage of his enhanced Basic ATK. Gaining this Eidolon will max out Luka’s damage.
