Based on Bernard Werber’s work, the team at Microids and Tower Five have released a new trailer for their photorealistic strategy title Empire of the Ants.
In this title, strategy, exploration, conflict, and alliances with local wildlife species are all essential for the survival of one’s colony. Players will take on the mantle of a noble ant as they utilize a third person world, utilizing unique abilities that aid in both battle and exploration.
The rhythm of the seasons comes into play, affecting wildlife attributes like speed, resistance, and buffs. In addition, the maps of Empire of the Ants will change depending on the time of day, ranging from day, night, dawn, and twilight.

Empire of the Ants will come out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this year. In the interim, players can wishlist the title on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and PlayStation Store.
