Set to release in early 2025, new information has been released around SNK Corporation’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

New to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the REV System, which lets players use REV Arts, REV Accel, REV Blows (while S.P.G. is active), and other moves. This can be done until one hits their limit and the REV Meter overheats.

For longtime fans of the series, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will see the return of Combination Attacks, Just Defense, Braking, Dodge Attacks, and Feints.

This also extends to its control scheme: Arcade Style will pay host to precise, technical inputs, while Smart Style will give players the chance to perform flashy special moves and combos using directional inputs.

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is a bit lost. Its attempts to channel the energy of a certain duology of titles is too self-aware to resonate with its target audience. Meanwhile, those looking for a grand adventure won’t appreciate its gaudy design and plodding gameplay. As a result, this CD-i tribute is only suited for a very specific few.
