Valve has restocked its refurbished Steam Deck selection in the US, meaning you can grab one for a discounted price if you’re quick on the draw. The highly popular handheld usually starts at $549 for the OLED and $399 for the LCD models, but the refurbishing program heavily discounts the prices.

Right now, you can grab the best handheld gaming PC for $439 for the 512GB OLED model, or $519 for the 1TB version. That’s a discount of $110 for the 512GB Steam Deck and $130 for the 1TB version. The LCD models are all out of stock, however, so you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled if you’re after an even cheaper entry point.

You’ll have to be quick if you want to nab an OLED model, though, as they tend to go quickly. As a case in point, the UK store restocked its refurbished OLED models in stock on January 9. As of writing, they’re all out of stock again in the UK, including the LCD roster.

For the US, however, it’s only been a couple of weeks since the last Steam Deck OLED restock. These did sell out pretty quickly too, so we recommend just periodically checking the refurbished page. Again, Valve is not very vocal about restocking this cracking deal. You can place your order at this link here.

It’s not rare for Valve to discount the Steam Deck, but price cuts for new hardware weren’t part of the last couple of major sales. The company doesn’t tend to announce when the new hardware will go on sale, much like it doesn’t announce when refurbishments go back in stock. As with its video game development, it’s all on Valve’s time.
