GTA Online’s latest story update is the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid, which adds a new mini-heist that can be played solo or with a squad. A cartel is running a large-scale operation out of the Paleto Bay Cluckin Bell factory, and it’s up to you to take them down.
Similar to the Salvage Yard missions added in the Chop Shop update, the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid involves a few short setup missions followed by an explosive finale. You have the option of going in loud or trying to sneak through stealthily for the finale, but the payout is the same either way. Your choices during the setup missions will also affect the difficulty of the finale, too, so you can get things done a lot faster if you don’t mind playing through a harder mission.
How to Start the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid in GTA Online
The Cluckin Bell Farm Raid is one of the easiest missions to start in Grand Theft Auto Online since it doesn’t require an upfront investment or property purchase. All you need to do is log into GTA Online and wait for a phone call from Vincent Effenburger, who fans may recognize as the former Diamond Casino head of security.
The phone call from Vincent will kick off the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid storyline and introduce you to the setup missions for the heist. There’s not much more to this update, so you don’t need to put in any work to access all the new content (as minor as it may be).
Cluckin Bell Farm Raid Payout and Cooldown
The Cluckin Bell Farm Raid pays $500,000 for the heist leader and $50,000 to each associate who tags along for the mission. First-time completions will also net you a cool $250,000 bonus. The first-time bonus applies to both leaders and goons, so you can get it twice if you help a friend out in their session.
After finishing the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid finale mission, there is a one-hour cooldown before you can start it again. Like all other GTA Online cooldowns, this is a real-world timer so you’ll need to wait 60 minutes before you can start the process over again and proceed with new heist setup missions.
If you ask me (and most GTA Online players), then the payout for the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid is pretty underwhelming. It’s a great avenue for solo players to make some money, especially new players since it doesn’t require an expensive property purchase to start, but upper-echelon criminals will still want to stick to the classic Cayo Perico heist even though the cooldown is longer. It’s a disappointing update, but something is still better than nothing at least.

There’s a lot of grinding ahead if you want to get the Cluckin Bell outfit from the final tier. If you ask me, it’s not even worth it. With a $500,000 payout, you’ll need to run the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid 10 times and complete every other challenge in order to claim every reward. You’re better off focusing your attention elsewhere like the Acid Lab.
