Part of the Wizarding World franchise, this title will transport players to the late 1800 as they enroll in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As they take classes and learn spells, they will also take part in a journey to unearth an ancient secret. Other locations players will be able to explore include Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and the Room of Requirement.
This action RPG lets players create their character and choose from one of four different Hogwarts Houses. Along the way, players can earn XP and level up, gaining the ability to upgrade and learn additional spells and boost talents and abilities. Players will also be able to tame, care for, and ride different magical beasts like hippogriffs and thestrals.

The Nintendo Switch version has a game file size of 14.3GB, and languages supported include English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.
The title is also available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
