The Honkai Star Rail release date isn’t far off, and seeing as the closed beta has been and gone, we know quite a bit about the characters, world, and gameplay in this turn-based RPG game. Here’s what to expect from Honkai Star Rail codes, as well as info on whether they’re coming to the free PC game later this month, how we think they’ll work, and what rewards they might serve up.
Are there Honkai Star Rail codes?
There are currently no active Honkai Star Rail codes, as the game doesn’t include a code redemption system. It’s also unclear whether developer Hoyoverse will add a code system at launch.
That said, seeing as both of Hoyoverse’s other games, Honkai Impact and Genshin Impact, both have redemption codes for free rewards that are released throughout updates, it makes sense that this feature will arrive in time.
How will Honkai Star Rail codes work?
Assuming a Honkai Star Rail redeem code system is going to be similar to Genshin Impact, you’ll need to create a character and reach a minimum rank in order to redeem Honkai codes. In Genshin Impact, you have to reach Adventure Rank ten to unlock the ability to redeem codes.
Once you enter the Honkai Star Rail code, you will receive your gifts via the in-game mail system. The gifts you receive from Honkai Star Rail codes will likely consist of crafting materials, credits, and the turn-based game’s equivalent of Primogems; Stellar Jade.
Honkai Star Rail pre-registration rewards
While there were Honkai Star Rail Twitch drops during the closed beta, you can still sign up for the pre-registration event by creating a game account before the game releases. By signing up you get a four-star character, credit, and an avatar as well as other goodies as a reward. The tier of reward you gain from pre-registering will depend on how many people sign up early to play.
The full Honkai Star Rail pre-registration rewards are:
- 500,000 pre-registrations: 50,000 Credits
- 1,000,000 pre-registrations: 3x Star Rail Pass
- 2,000,000 pre-registrations: Trailblazer – Welcome Avatar
- 3,500,000 pre-registrations: 4-star character Serval
- 5,000,000 pre-registrations: 15x Star Rail Pass
