Remnant 2 is a game that throws some fun challenges at you left and right, whether that’s the challenge of a new boss or enemy, or it’s simply finding materials to upgrade your weapons. While overcoming these challenges however, you may be stumped by certain things, like how to beat an enemy. One of these enemies is the story boss Labyrinth Sentinel, which you can find in the Labyrinth, an area you head to after completing your first world. This boss can be a bit tricky to fight as it can kill you in one hit if you’re not careful. Here’s our guide on how to beat the Labyrinth Sentinel in Remnant 2.
How to beat the Labyrinth Sentinel in Remnant 2
The first thing you need to know about beating the Labyrinth Sentinel is how to damage it. You can’t damage it by shooting anywhere on the many cubes that spawn, as you need to hit a certain location – the white cubes on different sides of those cubes.
Once you figure out how to damage the boss, defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel in Remnant 2 becomes just that little bit easier. There are still a few issues though, such as efficiently doing this while making sure to not be crushed by the rolling cubes. One tip to avoid that is to hide in the holes that destroying the white cubes makes, as this can make your time a lot easier. But this requires pretty good timing, as if you mess up a little bit you can die instantly by being crushed. Luckily the game has a bit of forgiveness in this regard, but as someone who got killed by this a lot, it can still get you if you’re not careful.
My method
My method for defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel in Remnant 2 is quite simple. You learn the pattern of the first cube that rolls towards you, and then move around it to stop being crushed while you shoot at every cube possible from the beginning location. The cubes move on a linear pattern, meaning you can learn where they go and then dodge them accordingly. In the first area you walk into, you can hit the majority of the cubes, with the exception being one on the far side and to the right of this area from experience. This means you can spend time getting used to your surroundings and then perfect this boss by taking it slowly.
If you’re having trouble finding parts of the Labyrinth Sentinel that have white cubes on it, the telltale sign is that they’re still glowing purple, as the cubes that have no more targets on them become a regular stone color.
Hopefully with these tips you should be able to defeat the Labyrinth Sentinel in Remnant 2 with ease.
