Shell Credits are the main currency in Wuthering Waves, and you’re going to spend a lot of them, so knowing how to farm them is essential. Here are some of the best ways to become rich.

How to earn Shell Credits

There are a number of ways you can farm the main currency of Wuthering Waves relatively quickly. Thankfully, there doesn’t seem to be a limit on how many Shell Credits you can have in your inventory, so farm away.

Simulation Fields

This is one the the better ways to get your hands on any kind of resource in the game. I highly recommend running them to acquire more Resonance Potions. However, if you’re looking to earn some Shell Credits in Wuthering Waves, this is also a fantastic option.

Speak to Yhan in the north of the map of Jinzhou. He will give you various simulation training tasks to do. Make sure you select the one that awards Shell Credits.

Daily and weekly challenges

If you head into your pause menu, you can bring up your guide. This will show you all of your currently available challenges. Using the menu on the left of the screen, you can select to view both your daily and weekly challenges. The good thing about these is that they will offer challenges that refresh depending on their category. They’re relatively simple to complete, if a little dull, and will farm Shell Credits in Wuthering Waves.

Complete quests, bosses, and Tacit Fields

Just through playing through the game and completing the various story missions, including the Tacit Fields and Bosses, you’ll rake in the Shell Credits. These are a good early-game way to top your bank up in Wuthering Waves, as the returns will diminish with repeated completion.

However, you should get through the core storyline and bosses early so that you have all the Shell Credits you need for the end game Wuthering Waves.

Wuthering Waves environment

Exploration and general gameplay will result in you finding a few Shell Credits around the map. They can be picked up in chests and from defeating the various enemies you find around the place. Just get out there, use your Sensor, and do some exploring.

Where to spend your Shell Credits in Withering Waves

I am a terrible hoarder in games; I never want to spend resources and will finish an RPG with every scroll and potion I pick up. However, Shell Credits are going to come rolling in during your time in Wuthering Waves, so as long as you spend them on the right thing, you can go wild. They have a few main uses.

Upgrading Resonants

This will be, by far, the biggest drain on your Shell Credits and other resources in Wuthering Waves. Enhancing their abilities and other improvements will also cost a huge amount. If you have decided on a 5-start pull and want to start levelling up, then I suggest saving your Shell Credits to pay for it.

Weapon upgrades

Like levelling up Resonants, this will also cost a lot of Shell Credits, so make sure to save a few if you’re looking to buff a weapon.

Loong buns

They’re delicious, nutritious, and cost 6000 Shell Credits.

Tuning your Echoes

Another upgrade you will want to focus on in Wuthering Waves is your echoes. Tuning these will take a fair amount of Shell Credits, so have a few handy for this.
