Cyberpunk 2077 has gone through some serious overhauls since its release. Update 1.6 was the one that put it on the right track to being the game originally envisioned. Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 was the total overhaul that righted many of the previous wrongs, and Phantom Liberty was the icing on the cake of the totally reworked title. With each addition, new easter eggs are added for fans to find. Now, with the one and only DLC, it is time to find the easter eggs hidden in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Hidden Easter Eggs in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

There are a few new easter eggs to find in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, all discovered by the avid fans of the franchise.

John Wick

PC Invasion

Another one of Keanu Reave’s famous roles in his already star-studded career. If you head to the gun vendor right by the fast travel point in the EBM Petrochem Stadium, you will find a gun case with “For Mr. Wick” inscribed on it.

The Witcher

Arguably, CD Projekt Red’s best-ever game is referenced all the way through Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty in little easter eggs. One of the newest arcade games is called Roach Race, named after the iconic horse. There are also plenty of magazines and posters advertising various Witcher-themed things.

One of the best and most hidden extras is found by dialing 9077555202 in a phone booth. This Cyberpunk 2077 easter egg will then play the Witcher theme tune to you.

There is also a faction of enemies in the new Phantom Liberty expansion referred to as Barghest, a monster from The Witcher games.

Cyberpunk 2077 founder easter egg

You can find the two founders of CD Projekt Red working the market stalls in Dogtown. They sell various Braindances that reference monumental points in the history of the company, such as The Snitcher, yet again referencing The Witcher.

Ken Block homage

PC Invasion

You can pick yourself up a very nice, weaponized car as an easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. We have a guide on how to get your hands on it here. It can be found in Watson Northside, hidden away in a shed. This is an homage to the late Ken Block, a legend in the driving game.

The Wire

Reading through El Capitan’s email reveals a message to Sobotka, a surname familiar with fans of Idris Elba’s other great work: The Wire. This easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a nice nod to the 90’s TV show.

Do abide in Cyberpunk 2077

You can straight-up fail the Phantom Liberty expansion before it has even started. Simply don’t go to rescue the president when her ship crashes into Dogtown, and bam, not your problem. This will permanently lock you out of the missions and get a real earful from Songbird.

You can also just tell Myers and Songbird you don’t want to be involved in their mess. This seems pretty on-brand for a Cyberpunk if you ask me.

Edgerunners easter eggs

Finally, there are numerous references to the Edgerunner series on Netflix, alluding to the tie-in between the game and the TV show. If you head to the Columbarium, you will find the graves of various members of the show as an easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077.
