Complementing the overall experience of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, the team at Square Enix is partnering with both Polaroid and Dr. Martens in the upcoming title.
In Life is Strange: Double Exposure, the timeless Polaroid Now camera and classic Dr. Martens 1460 Smooth leather cherry red boots will make an appearance.
In particular, the protagonist Max Caulfield will use the Polaroid Now Generation-2 iType camera to create “beautifully imperfect” in-game images featuring the iconic Polaroid style.
Adding to the experience (and tying into the name of the game), Max’s camera also possesses a double exposure feature. This is deeply integrated with both the game’s Polaroid photography mode and the story.
Max Caulfield will also wear a pair of Dr. Martens 1460 Smooth leather cherry red boots on her journey to uncover the truth behind this title’s overall mystery.
Max will showcase different colors of the 1460 ankle boots through the alternate Outfit Packs, with a variety of stylish and cosplay outfits across on all editions of this title.
When it comes to editions of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, players can choose between Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate – a breakdown of each can be found on the official Life is Strange website.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via both Steam and Windows Store on October 29. Note that it will be released on the Nintendo Switch as well, with more information to be released at a later date.
Note that those who pre-order the Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition today can get themselves Early Access to Chapters 1 and 2 beginning October 15.
