A fantastical medieval world awaits with today’s release of Andrew Gower and his new studio Fen Research’s new MMOPRG Brighter Shores in Steam Early Access today.
A new free-to-play adventure, Brighter Shores will task players with battling fearsome creatures, mastering a plethora of professions, and taking on quests from the perilous to the quirky.
When not saving Adothria, players will also be able to level up their Brighter Shoes professions whilst idle. This means that those with busy lives can still progress through Brighter Shoes’ world, and get the chance to experience this title’s ongoing storyline.
Rounding things out in Brighter Shores is an innovative episode system. With it in place, each episode will unlock a distinct new area with new professions, equipment, and side quests.

Discussing the launch, Andrew Gower said the following:
“We’re releasing this game into early access now, as I’ve been longing to share our creation for years. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created and couldn’t stand waiting any longer! Expect it to improve rapidly over the coming months as we continue to work on it.”
Brighter Shoes will feature hours of gameplay will be available starting today at no cost. A paid premium pass is also available for Brighter Shoes, offering even more locations to discover, with pricing options starting at £4.99 a month.
