Chinese tech firm ThundeRobot has announced some supercharged new additions to its product line, rivaling the best gaming laptops at CES 2025, and powered by Nvidia’s next-gen 50 Series GPUs. ThundeRobot’s gaming laptops combine science-fiction-inspired aesthetics with high-end internals at an affordable price point. Their mission statement for the 2025 lineup is “powerful esports momentum,” intending to give players a competitive edge.

ThundeRobot announced seven flagship models at CES, all of which are available with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. They also feature Intel’s 2nd-gen Core Ultra processors and AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series CPUs based on the Zen 5 architecture. When it comes to cooling, ThundeRobot’s laptops use a proprietary ‘Xiu Technology’ system, which uses third-generation internal airflow technology.

The firm showcased its products on the show floor with the ‘Nvidia BW Zone,’ which allowed visitors to get hands-on with laptops using Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture. ThundeRobot is banking on the power of this hot new technology, claiming that its laptops can achieve “transformative breakthroughs in gaming performance, AI-driven intelligence, and content creation.”

Nvidia’s highly-anticipated 50 Series graphics cards have just hit the market, and much like the previous generation they’re expected to be in high demand. Packed with horsepower powered by the manufacturer’s groundbreaking Blackwell AI, these cards are capable of delivering next-level graphical fidelity. Nvidia DLSS 4 promises unprecedented speed, perfect for both gaming and creative pursuits.

Speaking of creativity, all 50 Series-equipped products will get access to the Nvidia Studio and Nvidia NIM microservices – AI models that let users build AI assistants, agents, and workflows. Let’s take a look at Blackwell-powered products on offer from ThundeRobot.

ThundeRobot ZERO

The star of the show is the new ThundeRobot ZERO – an 18-inch powerhouse available with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. It’s also available in a 16-inch SKU featuring the same chassis design. ThundeRobot has shown off the laptop’s large-screen gaming experience, highlighting its Hummingbird Eye-Care display which offers vivid colors, high refresh rates, and eye protection. Expect to be able to run the latest games with graphics set to high with ultra-smooth frame rates on this powerful unit.

Of course, a gaming laptop wouldn’t be complete without some flashy aesthetics, and this sleek white-silver model doesn’t skimp on sleekness. Its high-tech detailing may be too much for those who prefer a clean aesthetic, but its mecha-inspired designs will be perfect for tech enthusiasts. It also features exhaust lighting (which looks particularly snazzy in cobalt blue) and per-key RGB backlighting.

ThundeRobot Radiant

The ThundeRobot Radiant features a slightly more understated design, befitting its more budget-friendly price point. Despite this, it’s still a formidable machine, supporting up to the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti. Like the flagship model, it features an eye-protective display that can pump out 500 units of brightness, helping you enjoy your ray-traced visuals to the fullest extent. For the full Radiant experience look to 16” Radiant S 16 or Radiant 16.

The entry-level Radiant model is the Radiant 15, a light and portable gaming laptop with a 15.6 inch QHD/FHD screen. It’s capable of running up to an RTX 5070, but lacks some of the flashy extras like RGB lighting. Still, this affordable laptop is a great way of joining the next generation of Nvidia gaming tech without overspending.

ThundeRobot Storm

The ThundeRobot Storm is the brand’s entry-level laptop range. Despite its lower price point, it still packs quite the punch. The Storm 17 has a large 17.3-inch QHD screen and can run up to an Nvidia RTX 5070, with a highly capable Intel Core.

The Storm 15 is a newer entry-level model with a mecha-inspired chassis sporting a bold splash logo. This light and portable model features a 15.6 QHD or FHD screen capable of reaching extremely high frame rates with its 165hz refresh rate.

The Storm T is ThundeRobot’s cheapest gaming laptop, featuring a 15.6 FHD panel with up to a 165hz panel. It’s capable of running some high-end GPUs, including the Nvidia RTX 4070, and is powered by an Intel 12th or 13th generation.

It’s clear that ThundeRobot is making big moves in the laptop space in 2025. In addition to its gaming laptop range, the firm drew eyes to its 1kg Ultraportable laptops, lightweight dual-screen systems designed for work and study on the go.

In addition to its laptop range, ThundeRobot also showed off a variety of gaming monitors, desktops, and peripherals at CES in Las Vegas. The company has even made moves into the wearable tech space, revealing three models of smart glasses, including the world’s first full-color waveguide smart glasses, featuring Micro OLED displays and a 48MP camera.
