Kenji Tomochika is one of the first friends you’ll make in Persona 3 Reload. He is the Magician Arcana Social Link, so hanging out with him will give you boosts when fusing Personas like Jack Frost or Nekomata.
Kenji is one of the easiest Social Links to max out in Persona 3 Reload, but you can advance your friendship even faster by choosing the right dialogue options when hanging out with him. Persona 3 Reload also adds phone calls for Social Links, so you can earn points with Kenji even without seeing him in person.

Not every dialogue choice will affect your relationship, so this guide only includes the important dialogue options that will get to the most Social Link points. Also, make sure you have a Persona of the Magician Arcana in your possession when hanging out with Kenji in order to make the most out of your hang out session. By bringing a Persona that matches the Arcana of the Social Link you’re trying to improve, you’ll level up the Social Link even faster than you would without it.

Persona 3 Reload Magician Social Link Rewards
Once you reach Rank 10 with Kenji, he’ll give you the Handmade Choker as a token of your friendship. With this item, you can fuse the Persona Futsunushi, one of the most powerful Personas of the Magician Arcana. Futsunishi has a minimum level requirement of 79 in order to fuse, so you won’t be able to use this Persona just yet if you rushed through Kenji’s Social Link and storyline.
Making the most of your limited time is a key part of Persona 3 Reload, so choosing the right dialogue options and bringing the right Persona when hanging out with a friend is incredibly important if you want to max out Social Links as fast as possible. Thankfully, you can even max out Social Links with female characters like Yukari without being forced into romance this time around.
