Playtonic and PM Studios Celebrating Co-Publishing Deal for Yooka-Replaylee

Announced during today’s The MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase, Yooka-Replaylee developer Playtonic announced that PM Studios will be a co-publisher for the hotly anticipated platformer.

Regarding this partnership news, Playtonic CEO Gavin Price said the following:

“Yooka-Laylee was always our love letter to the golden age of platformers, and Yooka-Replaylee is a love letter to that love letter. 

PM Studios innately understands this.

They’re a perfect partner for Playtonic Friends as we enter this next stage of our journey with the game.” 

Michael Yum, PM Studios CEO, added:

“As a fan of collectathons like Yooka-Laylee and Banjo-Kazooie before that, it’s a delight to partner with Playtonic in bringing Yooka-Replaylee to platformer fans around the globe.

With our powers combined, Yooka and Laylee will be bigger than ever.”

The definitive remastered and enhanced version of Yooka-Laylee, Yooka-Replaylee will pay host to new remixed challenges and old favorites alike.

Yooka-Replaylee is being developed by key creative talent behind the Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country games, tasking players with taking down Corporate Creep Capital B and collecting all of the magical Pagies to save the day.
