The iconic Minecraft colors suit Razer’s gear like a match made in heaven, and the gaming headset, keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad included in the set are all meticulously designed using the iconic Minecraft Creeper and grass block imagery.
Razer also collaborated with Fortnite last year, and I had a chance to take a look at this gear up close and was a huge fan. On first look, however, this new deal with Minecraft eclipses its previous efforts. These collaborations don’t typically use the best gaming keyboard, mouse, or headset, but the products selected here are ideal for gamers young and old.

Not that you needed any further encouragement, but when purchasing an item from this set, you will receive one of two in-game items. With either the Blackwidow V4 X or Kraken V4 X, you receive the Ender Dragon Shawl. With the Cobra or Gigantus V2, you receive the Overgrown Arm.
As soon as I saw this set, there was only one person’s opinion that mattered, my nine-year-old daughter. She immediately fell in love with the Creeper-centric designs and praised how “realistic” all the gear looked. I can only assume she’s praising how the gear perfectly mimics the look of grass blocks in the game.
I have to admit, at first glance even as someone who has mostly enjoyed Minecraft as a spectator when my daughter has been playing, this gear design is simple but ever so effective. I particularly love added touches such as the special keycap block used for the escape key.
Swapping out the Deathadder V3 Pro and Goliathus Extended Chroma for cheaper, much more suitable options in the Cobra and Goliathus V2 is a brilliant move. This gear is still more than capable for casual gaming but is suited better for younger gamers who don’t need all the bells and whistles of $100+ gear.
An exception here is the Blackwidow V4 X, which is a great full-size mechanical keyboard that also serves as a good introduction to gaming keyboards. The Razer Minecraft Edition gear is available to buy from the Razer online store right now.
