A turn-based strategy game where humanity sets out to defend themselves against a Martian invasion, Relic Entertainment announced that Earth vs Mars will come out this summer.
An expansive narrative-driven campaign, Earth vs. Mars will feature more than 30 hand-crafted missions. Players will be able to utilize the “Splice-O-Tron” to combine creatures with human “volunteers” to create hybrid units.
As Earth vs Mars’ campaign unfolds, players will be able to unlock new creature types, unit upgrades, and game-changing commander abilities. However, Martian forces will also evolve, bringing new challenges like the sentient organic weapon known as “The Creep.”

“We are excited to bring a Relic Twist to the Advance Wars style of gameplay, infusing some Relic DNA, while harkening back to some of our earlier titles.
Relic Entertainment recently announced a new strategy: Alongside continuing to work on the traditional RTS titles that we’re known for, we’re also going to work on smaller Indie style games in order to explore new sub-genres, experiment, get our creative juices going, and release games more frequently.
Earth vs Mars is the first of this smaller Indie style game from Relic, published under the Relic Labs label.”
