Road to Unova Event for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Beginning February 24

Ahead of the launch of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, Trainers will be able to get into a Unova state of mind during the Road to Unova event.

Beginning February 24 at 10:00am and running to March 1 at 10:00am local time, the Road to Unova event will feature the following highlights:

• Available to purchase globally at the start of the Road to Unova event, a ticket for Masterwork Research will lead to a Shiny Meloetta encounter. Tickets can be purchased via the in-game shop for $4.99 (or equivalent).
• Players will be able to enjoy additional bonuses, event-themed Timed Research, and new avatar items— just the thing for Trainers looking to make the most of this Unova celebration.
• Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott will appear more frequently in the wild (both Shiny and regular).  Trainers might also encounter Servine, Pignite, and Dewott.
• Trainers that participate in five-star raids during the Road to Unova event can get the chance to receive new Special Backgrounds after making a successful catc.
