During The Game Awards 2024 yesterday, SEGA of America teased a trio of new titles: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Project Century, and New VIRTUA FIGHTER.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will feature iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, along with a distinct racing mechanic that will bring players to a new dimension.
In addition, a new VIRTUA FIGHTER Project was confirmed at The Game Awards 2024, along with Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s Project Century.
Shuji Utsumi, President and COO of SEGA Corporation, said the following:
“SEGA continues to dig into its treasure trove of IP to bring back what our fans have been asking for.
This year we are proud to reveal Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a completely new project in the Virtua Fighter series, and a brand-new concept from RGG Studio that for now we’re calling Project Century.
This is in addition to last year’s reveals of Crazy Taxi™, Jet Set Radio™, and more. We will continue to look for opportunities to add to our incredible publishing lineup in the future.”
