by theygamesThe New Vanguard is making its way to Offworld Industries and Sony Pictures Consumer Product as part of Update 0.7.0 for the 16-player co-op FPS.
The New Vanguard is made up of six elite soldier classes of the United Citizen Federation. Made up of The Sniper, The Ranger, The Guardian, The Demolisher, The Medic, and The Engineer, each features their own unique skills, weaponry, and tools.
Note that as each weapon ranks up in Starship Troopers: Extermination, it will unlock different attachments that alter its performance. Those that attain Rank 10 with a weapon will see Troopers achieve Weapon Mastery, which will grant the ability to use that weapon across all classes for those at the right level. This means that players won’t need to repeat the progression track to unlock modifications when switching between classes.
Update 0.7.0 for Starship Troopers: Extermination brings with it Side Missions to ARC Slam mode. This serves as a way to deepen the strategy and incentive behind the UCF’s engagements. A new Bug variant – dubbed “the Bombardie” – will also make its debut.
