A remake of 2021’s Sword of the Necromancer, Grimorio of Games’ Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is set to release this year.
In this title, players will follow former rogue Tama, who is tasked with escorting the priestess Koko in her pilgrimage around the continent. However, Koko soon meets her demise, leading to Tama carrying her corpse to the Necromancer’s crypt in hopes of resurrection.
A dungeon-crawler action RPG with procedural elements, this title is unique in that players can revive fallen foes with the titular Sword of the Necromancer. With this power, players can then have these former enemies fight alongside them in battle.
Along the way, players will be able to customize their summons’ behavior with the Tactics feature. One is also able to bring a friend along with its local co-op functionality.
