The world of terrible games awaits once more with the release of Retroware and Mega Cat Studios’ The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit in Q2 2025.
As The Nerd himself, The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit will let players blast through a wealth pixel art levels packed with zombies, mechanical skeletons, ghoulish reapers, and other threats.
Along the way, The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit will take players through multiple levels inspired by the Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) universe, complete with enemies themed around each level.
Gameplay will have players sliding below platforms, picking up power-ups, and taking alternate routes to get to the boss room.
