There might not be a shortage of gaming rigs with RGB lighting, but I’ve never seen one as impressive as this neon gaming PC build, a PC that looks Tron-inspired. Its sleek lines and bold colors are absolutely beautiful, but it’s not just a pretty PC, it’s an absolute powerhouse, powered by a high-spec Intel CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card.
Even if you look past the retina-searing lights, the specs alone make this machine one of the best gaming PC designs that you could put together. The Nvidia GPU is as good as it gets, at least until the new RTX 5000 series launches next month, while the best of the last generation of Intel gaming CPUs, the 24-core Intel Core i9 14900KS, remains one of the best gaming CPU models that you can buy.
This particular build was shared in a post in the r/pcmasterrace subreddit by Reddit user cornyevo, who took some several extremely professional-looking pictures of their Tron-like build. The PC looks striking, with a perfectly executed color scheme spreading an array of cyan and magenta across the fans, cabling, RAM, and more.
The rest of the build’s specs are quite interesting, too. It uses a full ATX PC case, the Phanteks NV7, with 12 Lian Li cooling fans that fill the top, bottom, and rear. It’s a full Lian Li affair in this build, too, with the Lian Li Strimer RGB power cable system using the same color scheme to match the rest of the build, along with a Lian Li HydroShift AIO cooler to keep the CPU cool, while sporting a fancy 2.88-inch IPS LCD that displays key stats in the same color scheme.
There’s also a huge 96GB of Corsair Dominator DDR5 memory, which is some of the best gaming RAM you can buy, all built around an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard. There’s even a built-in 8.8-inch IPS screen at the top, which the builder bought from Aliexpress, and shows the CPU and GPU temperature and resource usage, powered using a USB-C connection.
This PC build is a complete showstopper. Not only does it look out of this world, but the specs are almost impossible to beat. I certainly wouldn’t be too disappointed with it on my desk, but if you like the look of it, you can grab some 8K (yes, 8K) resolution screenshots from cornyevo’s post on Reddit.
