Today’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch finally brings transmog to the Viking open world adventure game.
Yes, we’ll finally be able to swap out the cosmetic look of our gear for another piece in the same category. This means that if you have a cloak, you can swap its look for another cloak. Obviously, you can’t make a cloak look like gloves. That’s just weird.
You can do this transmog at Gunnar’s forge in Ravensthorpe, and it’ll cost you 50 silver. Additionally, any transmogged items will be marked with a star icon in your inventory for easy identification. So that’s good.
The patch also adds the Ostara Festival Available until April 8. You’ll see a Ravensthorpe in the bloom of spring, in addition to some unique activities. New skills are added too like Fearless Leeaper, Raven’s Loot, and Loot Food.
- Fearless Leaper = When activated, the leap attack damage has a larger area of effect and can be done at any height.
- Raven’s Loot = Your raven gathers loot from targets killed with ranged attacks.
- Loot Food = Eivor now has a higher chance of looting food from dead bodies.
A close camera option has been added which sees a closer exploration camera, but one which pans out once combat is initiated. This feature will be a toggle. The game also comes with a balancing pass and several fixes.
The patch comes in at the following sizes:
- Xbox Series X|S: ~17.97 GB
- Xbox One: ~12.81 GB
- PlayStation®5: ~12.28 GB
- PlayStation®4: ~12.6 GB
- PC: ~15.85 GB
