Abyssal Conspiracy is a secret achievement in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. You’ll be able to do this in Alushinyrra during Act 4, as long as you haven’t headed to Colphyr Mines yet. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Abyssal Conspiracy achievement guide to help you with the Thanatotic Titans Rune.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Abyssal Conspiracy secret achievement and Thanatotic Titans Rune guide
Thanatotic Titans Rune
As mentioned above, Abyssal Conspiracy is a secret achievement, so there’s no prompt for it while you’re playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. In fact, you’ll probably just stumble upon some tidbits related to it while exploring the demon city. For now, though, take a look at the map of Alushinyrra – Middle City in the next image. While you’re going to explore all three main sections, this particular area has several points of interest.
First, you’ll want to acquire the Thanatotic Titans Rune itself. Go to the Middle City and check the rooftop where Ten Thousand Delights is. Rotate the camera to make the wall move, which will reveal some mobs just chilling around.
If you approach them, they’ll attack. Take them out and loot the Thanatotic Titans Rune.
Slot #1: Lower City
Make your way to the Lower City just south of the Bad Luck Tavern (i.e., where you’ll find the Athletics check leading upward). There’s a house here with an odd-looking indentation. Buff up, place the rune in the slot, and click the “Apply” button. Once you do this, nearly a dozen enemies will spawn. Pick up the rune after the fight.
Slot #2: Middle City
For the next slot, you’ll want to head back to where you found the rune in the first place. There are some portals leading down, which will take you close to a building (where you can start the Mercy sidequest). Insert the item in the slot and prepare for another battle.
Slot #3: Upper City
The third and final slot is in the upper city. Make your way past the Palace of Incest and Mage’s Tower. There are a couple of buildings here, as well as a Portal Up. Use the portal to get to the rooftop. You’ll see the slot, which means it’s time for another upgrade and a bout.
The Hidden Abode
With all of the above done, you should have a fully upgraded Thanatotic Titans Rune in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, which means it’s time to find the Hidden Abode. Go to the Middle City and look for a narrow alleyway that leads to the back of the Harem of Ardent Dreams. There’s another slot here but, thankfully, no enemies will spawn. Place the rune and a portal will appear. Enter it and you’ll find yourself in the Hidden Abode.
Now, be careful here and make sure you pre-buff/pre-summon since this will likely be one of the toughest fights in the game. Your foes will be chatting as you enter, but they’ll notice your party. This will cause several Demodand opponents to aggro, including archers from the balconies and even a teleporting assassin.
When you’re done, you’ll receive the Abyssal Conspiracy secret achievement in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Don’t forget to grab your loot:
- Headband of the Subjugator – +6 INT; when you land a hit on an enemy for the first time, the target must pass a Fortitude saving throw (DC 30) or become dazzled for three rounds.
- Tome of Leadership and Influence +2 – The reader gains +2 CHA; single-use item.
- Nemarius’ Burning Brand – Unlocks a decree that nets you a trident, sling, or bardiche.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available via Steam.
