For the longest time, The Sims has dominated the life simulation genre. Countless DLCs, new spinoffs, and the recent remasters of the first two games show that the EA and Maxis series isn’t going anywhere, but that doesn’t mean it has no competition. Krafton’s InZOI is almost here, and this new take on the genre is bringing a lot of fresh ideas to the table. If you just can’t wait for launch, however, a new demo is about to drop and give you one last chance to try it for yourself.
With the InZOI release date right around the corner, Krafton has announced one final way to play the life game ahead of time. The InZOI: Creative Studio is set to drop mere days before launch, offering up two major features for all of us to try out. One half of this trial consists of Zoi customization, while the other gives us a chance to take the game’s construction mechanics for a spin. If you just can’t wait for early access, listen up.
Starting Thursday March 20, you can watch streams of InZOI on several platforms, including Twitch and Steam, to get a key for the Creative Studio. If you’re watching on Twitch you need to link your Krafton and streaming platform ID, add InZOI to your wishlist, and then watch a participating broadcast for at least 15 minutes. As for Steam, you just need to watch a stream for over 30 minutes instead. Krafton does note that the key drop period may end early if supply runs out, but don’t worry if that happens.
Between Sunday March 23 and Thursday March 27, the InZOI: Creative Studio tool will be free to access for everyone without any restrictions, so you’ll have a few days to take character creation and construction for a spin.
We’ve been learning a lot about InZOI in the lead-up to early access, as Krafton has continued to share how it’s been listening to player feedback surrounding some of the mechanics. We’ve been told exactly how crime will play a role in the game, and shown an array of feature improvements and changes that Krafton has been hard at work on. InZoi’s early access is going to be busy, that’s for sure.
If you just can’t wait for the Creative Studio to drop, we’ve got all the best simulation games and best management games to keep you busy until then.
