You can get your name immortalized in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey when it releases later this Spring.
In case you missed it, Odyssey was delayed outside its original “early 2021” release date window into late Spring on PC, and in the Autumn for consoles. Alpha testing will continue throughout Spring this year.
Once it releases, however, you’ll have your chance to see your name immortalized in the game through a prize draw. In a forum post, the team explains that five Commanders will be chosen at random to have their submitted surname added as a location in-game. For example, if you submitted “Smith” as the surname, you could have “Smith’s Point” in-game.
If you want to enter this contest, you can do so using this Google Form. The contest will run for one week, with winners selected on January 22. As a quick reminder you’ll need a Google account to enter. Only one entry is allowed per person.
