What are the Zenless Zone Zero events? Hoyoverse’s latest live service gacha game has plenty of content to keep you occupied, whether that’s charging through the twists and turns of the main storyline or picking up side commissions. If you’re looking for a change of pace that can net you additional rewards, then look no further than the latest events.
The ZZZ events ran for the duration of the Zenless Zone Zero beta, and only those with access were able to make the most of them prior to launch. However, it’s a safe bet that these events will return following the Zenless Zone Zero release date. Just like Zenless Zone Zero banners, events are only available for a limited time, so be sure to complete them before they come to an end in the gacha game. Here are the upcoming events in Zenless Zone Zero to sink your teeth, sword, or whatever else into.
Zenless Zone Zero events
Here are Zenless Zone Zero events that took place in the beta:
- The Final Callback
- New City Visitor’s Passport
- Camellia Golden Week
- Rookie on the Road
- Hollow Zero
- Mr. Hello’s Savior
- Coffee Sorcery: Rally Commission
The Final Callback
The Final Callback is Zenless Zone Zero’s version of the character trials that appear in Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. This continuous event gives you the opportunity to go hands-on with characters on the latest banners before you commit to pulling them. These special audition stages also provide a basic rundown of that character’s kit, so you can ascertain whether they suit your preferred playstyle and team comp.
New City Visitor’s Passport
New City Visitor’s Passport is a daily check-in event that automatically bestows free gacha currency for Zenless Zone Zero banners every time you log in. You can expect to receive nine Encrypted Master Tapes in total: one for the first six days you log in, and a further three on the seventh and final day.
Camellia Golden Week
Camellia Golden Week, otherwise known as New Eridu’s “Shop Till You Drop” festival, sends you into the depths of Hollow C41 to complete a series of objectives. This holiday event includes a number of commissions, each with supply boxes, upgrade materials, and banner currency. If you’re in need of an item restock, Camellia Golden Week will leave your inventory fit to burst.
Rookie on the Road
Rookie on the Road is an event that grants automatic rewards to new players as they progress through the early content in the anime game. These rewards are largely tied to the Proxy Primer, located under the Inter-Knot tab in the main menu, which also bestows rewards for milestone achievements in the early game.
The Rookie on the Road event objectives and rewards are:
- Complete Proxy Primer No. 2: A-Rank Agent Profile: Nicole (Ether)
- Complete Proxy Primer No. 4: A-Rank W-Engine The Vault
- Complete Chapter 2 and “Call Ben Bigger”: A-Rank Agent Ben Bigger (Fire)
- Complete Proxy Primer No. 6: A-Rank W-Engine Demara Battery Mark II
Hollow Zero
Hollow Zero is effectively Zenless Zone Zero’s answer to a roguelike game mode. You begin by choosing an agent to lead your expedition, along with two backup agents that you can call on as you progress. Hollow Zero spans four floors in total, culminating in a final boss, though you’ll have to carefully manage your pressure and corruption gauges to reach that point. If your run is unsuccessful, don’t worry – the Etheric Matter samples you’ve collected along the way can be exchanged for Master Tapes, Film, and upgrade materials once you emerge from the depths.
Mr. Hello’s Savior
Mr. Hello’s Savior is – you! This monocled and mustached Bangboo is located directly opposite the video store on Sixth Street, and he needs your help. Once you reach level 15, complete the missions allotted to receive Zenless Zone Zero Film and HIA Commemorative Marbles. You can then exchange the latter for character skill level-up materials, Bangboo level-up materials, and currency.
Coffee Sorcery: Rally Commission
You know what they say – a coffee a day, erm, unlocks double rewards for Rally Commissions. That’s how it goes, right? Coffee consumption resets at 4am local time every day, and the double rewards applies to up to two Rally Commissions for each day of the event. To participate in the Coffee Sorcery event, you must first complete Chapter 001 and the Lost Coffee Beans commissions to unlock Rally Commissions and access the Coff Cafe.
Of course, Zenless Zone Zero events are just one way of accruing rare items and level-up materials. You can also skip the legwork with the Zenless Zone Zero codes, which typically include the gacha currency to pull new Zenless Zone Zero characters. If you’re yet to make the streets of New Eridu your own, sit tight with the best RPG games until Zenless Zone Zero arrives.
