A city-survival game set 30 years after an apocalyptic blizzard ravaged the world, Frostpunk 2 shows an Earth that is now a harsh, icy wasteland. Players will be tasked with facing a new deadly threat in the form of human nature and its thirst for power.
Along the way, players will have to ensure all parts of the City work together in harmony. Different districts have different responsibilities, and players will have to navigate between different factions, research new technologies, and forge new laws.
According to Jakub Stokalski, game Co-Director and Design Director at 11 bit studios.
“Frostpunk 2 is still a game about the City and its society. But inner turmoils, sparked by rising social differences, mean that players will be facing new kinds of threats. We use a post-apocalyptic setup to tell a meaningful story about human ambition. Because ultimately, what can end us is not nature itself – it’s human nature.”Jakub Stokalski

Frostpunk 2 will launch on PC in the first half of 2024. Note that it will launch later with Xbox Game Pass upon release on Xbox Series X|S, and is also slated for the PlayStation 5.
