Rukkhashava Mushrooms are a new type of collectible item in Genshin Impact‘s Sumeru region. You’ll want to amass a few of these early on, though they can really be a pain to collect. Here’s our Genshin Impact Rukkhashava Mushrooms farming guide to help you obtain these materials for characters like Collei.

Note: For more information about the game, check out our Genshin Impact guides and features hub.

Genshin Impact Rukkhashava Mushrooms farming guide

Rukkhashava Mushrooms in Genshin Impact grow on trees and giant mushrooms. Mind you, even though their bluish hue makes them easy to see out in the open, a lot of nodes tend to be tucked away. There are even those that can only be found higher up, requiring the use of your grapple move just to reach those areas. In any case, you can check the images and maps below for the Rukkhashava Mushrooms farming locations in Genshin Impact.

Note: If you have Tighnari, his passive talent marks the nodes of Sumeru-specific materials.

Mawtiyima Forest

Mawtiyima Forest has the most number of Rukkhashava Mushrooms in the Sumeru region (as you can see in the map above). If you’re entering this area from the south, then you’ll see a few next to the roots of trees or backed closely with other fungal terrain. Likewise, keep an eye out for grapple points in hanging in mid-air. These will usually let you reach ledges on the giant mushrooms, which also happen to have the material.

Northern Sumeru (Fane of Ashvattha)

As far as I can tell, only the fane of Ashvattha has these items. You’ll go here as part of the Aranyaka – Nursery of Lost Dreams quest.

Southern Sumeru

  • Apam Woods – There are a couple of sections in Apam Woods that have high concentrations of these items: one in the northwest and another in the southeast. These locations will have one node right next to you once you use the fast travel points on the giant trees. The others can be found as you’re climbing/gliding/grappling to reach other branches.
  • South of Devantaka Mountain – This area is visited as part of the Vimana Agama quest chain. The entrance to the cave is guarded by a Ruin Drake. From there, you should see the materials on ledges and branches (again, you’ll do a lot of grappling). Alternatively, if you already tagged the fast travel point there, you can just turn around and glide back to the entrance (which should give you a clearer vantage point).

In any case, these are the Rukkhashava Mushrooms farming locations that I’ve found so far in Genshin Impact. I’ll update this guide once I’ve discovered more.
