Are you wondering how to play as a Dinosaur in Expoprimal? Controlling a dinosaur aims to impede the opposing team’s progress while advancing your own. Although dinosaur controls may be cumbersome, they can effortlessly tear apart other players with just a few forceful swings. Moreover, they are not easily defeated, even when an entire team is focused on them, making them powerful. However, you should know a few things about playing as a Dinosaur in Exoprimal that will give your team a competitive edge over the other team, who will also control their dinosaur.

How to get the Dominator in Expoprimal

To play as a Dinosaur in Exoprimal, you must obtain and use the Dominator, which will spawn during your mission. You can find the Dominator when the Levithan announces its arrival, and it looks like a platform with a holographic dinosaur standing on it, as shown in the picture above. When activated, it summons a massive dinosaur that becomes your ally in battle. You can then send this dinosaur to the enemy team’s dimension and personally control it, gaining access to the incredible power that can effectively stop the enemy team’s advances.

Unfortunately, you won’t have the option to choose which dinosaur to play as in Exoprimal. Based on my experience playing Exoprimal and the feedback I obtained from other writers on PC Invasion and Attack of the Fanboy, it seems that the Carnotaurus and Triceratops are the dinosaurs you’ll likely play the most.

When switching Exosuits, the Dominator can be dropped and retrieved later. However, it will occupy your RIG slot, preventing you from using other equipped items until you drop or use the Dominator. If you wish to give the Dominator to another player, switch Exosuits.

The Dominator is single-use and can only be used by one player, meaning you should use it strategically for maximum impact. It is important to note that controlling dinosaurs is only possible for a limited time, regardless of their health. The purple health bar in the lower left corner indicates the remaining time. Therefore, it is crucial to make every moment count when playing as a dinosaur in Exoprimal.

When playing Dino Survival, it’s essential to know that Overcharge attacks can help defeat player-controlled Dinosaurs quickly. However, you will most likely only be able to use one Overcharge attack per game, so it’s best to save it when you face off against an opposing dinosaur controlled by a player. By following this strategy, your team can focus on completing objectives and allowing your player-controlled dinosaur to wreak havoc on the other team.
