How do you get Silver, Gold, and Whitewing keys in Granblue Fantasy Relink? You only need one of each throughout your playthrough, but finding them in the first place can be tricky. You might find all the chests before you come across a single key. And that’s no fun. Here’s where to find them, as well as where to find each silver, gold, and whitewing chest in Folka and Seedhollow.

Already in need of a new anime-infused RPG to play after Granblue Fantasy Relink? Here are the best anime games on PC. Yes, that’s a category. And if you’re just looking for a JRPG of any sort, we’ve rounded up the best JRPGs on PC as well. If you just like looters in general, you can’t go wrong with the best Diablo 4 builds for Season 3. Might it be time to return to Sanctuary?

How to get the Silver, Gold, and Whitewing keys in Granblue Fantasy Relink

Scattered throughout the two hub towns you’ll frequent in Granblue Fantasy Relink are chests; most you can open, some you can’t. These distinctly different chests hold more valuable loot (as you’d expect) but you’ll have to put in some work to bust them open.

Requiring the Silver, Gold, and Whitewing Key respectively, these increasingly sparse coffers just need one key of the correct colour to open. Once you have the Silver Key, for example, you can loot every Silver Chest you come across. You don’t need to procure one for each container.

Where to get the Silver Key in Granblue Fantasy Relink

You can nab Granblue’s Silver Key from the Nearly Retired Adventurer in Folka. He’s a burly fella with horns who’ll offer the quest “A Lingering Regret” with the Silver Key as the major reward.

All you need to do for this one is deliver a Golem Finger. You should already have one following the Relics in the Sand quest of Chapter 6. If not, just run the Golemology 101: Desert Golems mission at the quest board for another.

Where to get the Gold Key in Granblue Fantasy Relink

The Gold Key is obtained by completing the quest Out of Serpentine Spite from the Adventurer’s Partner in Seedhollow.

You’ll find him on the market perimeter in the centre of town. Just continue along the rounded path after the quest counter and he’ll be on your left talking about a cobra. Surprising nobody, he’ll want you to take on a Cobra.

You can find Cobras in the desert area of Dahli Relicbelt. Just run the Rilla Done Did It survival mission from the quest counter and you should come across plenty. Head back to the Adventurer’s Partner once you’re done to earn the Gold Key.

Where to get the Whitewing Key in Granblue Fantasy Relink

Last of all is the Whitewing Key. Used to unlock a couple of particularly well-hidden chests around Folka and Seedhollow, you’ll need to go the extra mile for this one by clearing Chapter 0 to unlock Maniac difficulty. You’ll get the key as a reward for the unlock.

All secret Silver, Gold, and Whitewing chest locations

Now that you have each key,  it’s time to check out where to find every Granblue Fantasy Relink Silver, Gold, and Whitewing Chest in Folka and Deephollow:

Folka chests

Silver

  1. Head across the wood bridge by the pond and take the right turn into the alleyway. You should immediately spot a silver chest on your right by the porch of a building.
  2. Facing the entrance to the church, take the staircase behind to your right. You should spot a silver chest on your left as you enter the plaza.

Gold

Hop onto one of the rooftops by the Blacksmith’s hut and you should spot a gold chest resting on the balcony.

Whitewing

  1. Facing the entrance to the church, go up the right path and take a left through the opening in the fence. Head through the shrubs to find a Whitewing Chest tucked in the corner by the church wall.

Seedhollow chests

Silver

  1. From the entrance to the main plaza from the dock, go straight ahead into the centre. You should spot a silver chest on your left just behind the central fountain structure.
  2. From the entrance to the main plaza, go clockwise 90 degrees and left through the market. Once the roof ends, head right into the alleyway. Go straight ahead at the fork to arrive in a courtyard with a silver chest.
  3. From the last chest, exit the courtyard and take the right path. Head down the stairs on your left to spot another chest.
  4. Facing the stairs leading up from the market to the castle, take a right turn, then a sharp left before you head down the shade-covered alley.

Gold

  1. From the port, head up and the first set of carpeted stairs. Take a right onto the balcony and you should spot the gold chest just around the bend.
  2. From the first gold chest, head up the second staircase into the main market plaza. Go clockwise 90 degrees and left through the market. Climb the stairs and run to the end of the street. Head up the stairs on your right to find another gold chest.

Whitewing

  1. From the entrance to the main plaza, go straight to the other end. Keep going down the path to the left of the carpeted stairs and you should see a Whitewing chest on the middle porch on your right with two talkative NPCs.
  2. From the location of the last Whitewing chest, take a hard left down the alleyway. Turn the bend and you’ll spot another on your left by some pallets.

What’s inside the Granblue Fantasy Relink hub chests?

There’s nothing essential to your experience hidden in the Silver, Gold, and Whitewing chests in either Seedhollow or Folka. You’ll get more rupies and high-level sigils than you would from the more common type of chests, but that’s about it for the most part.

Unlike common chests, Silver, Gold, and Whitewing chests don’t occasionally respawn between quests, either.

Until we discover more Granblue Fantasy Relink chests and the secrets behind them, that should be all you need to know about the keys and the contents they unlock. Just like collecting things?
